The text, written by Chloe Nguyen, reads:
“GMOs, or genetically modified organisms, have several pros and cons. One benefit is that they can make crops more resistant to pests, diseases, and harsh weather, which helps increase food production. They can also be engineered to contain more nutrients, helping fight hunger and malnutrition. However, some people worry that GMOs might harm the environment, reduce biodiversity, or have unknown health effects over time.”
